Shaun Michael Colón is a documentary film director and the founder of [open -ended] films based in Dallas, Texas. The former marketing director used his skills in advertising to fundraise for his first feature length documentary, A Fat Wreck, a festival darling that raised 404% of its orignal goal on Indiegogo in 2013. It played in more than 30 festivals, including Raindance, Nashville film festival, Dallas International, Newport Beach and many others. The film was distributed by The Orchard in North America, streaming on Amazon Prime in the US and on Netflix in
Japan.
